I can't save my photo!? You've received your passport photos via email but you cannot save the attachment?

The photos are embedded in the email (instead of an attachment). Most people are able to RIGHT-CLICK the photo and SAVE AS. But...if you're using Outlook, Microsoft has acknowledged an bug that seems to be ongoing for many years now, so some people don't have the SAVE AS option.

Other ways to save your photo

  1. Instead of pressing the EMAIL button in the app, choose the SAVE button. Then send it by iMessage, save the image to your phone camera roll, or if you use google drive, you may have the icon visible and save it there.
  2. Forward the email to a different email address such as hotmail.com or yahoo.com. Then you should be able to right-click the photo and SAVE AS.
  3. Open the email with embedded images in message body, click "Other Actions" button found in the Actions tab and select "View In Browser". Now, right click on the photo in the browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) and choose save as. (Source)
  4. In Outlook, click File, Save the Email to your desktop. Now click the newly saved email on your desktop and when you pull it up again you are then able to Save As. (Source)
